Dearest Blog, in my last entry I stated that Simon Bakerapos;s re-emergence into American prime time made everyone else on television look a little uglier. After watching last nightapos;s episode of The Mentalist, I think I need to retract that. What Simon Bakerapos;s re-emergence into American prime time has made everyone else is invisible. Totally. Utterly. Invisible.
Lest you think itapos;s all about looks, well, it isnapos;t. The boy ainapos;t hard on the eyes, thatapos;s for sure, but itapos;s about more than looks. Itapos;s about talent and charm and having the charisma to carry a show or a movie or an event on nothing more than your own appeal. Very few people have it, and when weapos;re lucky enough to be entertained by someone who does, we are lucky indeed. I, for one, wonapos;t be tuning out anytime soon
